Activity‑based & Personal Assistant Support

Enabling you to do more of what you love — from hobbies and social events to appointments and day trips — with a dedicated personal assistant by your side.

Life is for living — we help make that possible

Activity-based support and personal assistant (PA) services go beyond physical care tasks. They focus on enabling individuals to lead active, engaged and meaningful lives — participating in hobbies, social activities, community events and day-to-day life outside the home.

A Personal Assistant works flexibly to support your goals. Whether that means accompanying you to a day centre, helping you attend a class, visiting friends or managing appointments, your PA is there to facilitate the life you want to live.

This service is particularly valuable for younger adults with disabilities, individuals on Personal Independence Payments (PIP) or direct payments, and anyone whose social connections are at risk due to reduced mobility or confidence.

Built around your interests and goals

Activity support is one of the most personal services we offer — it's shaped entirely by what matters to you. Your PA gets to know you as an individual so every session is purposeful, not just productive.

1

Discover your goals

We start by having a conversation about what you enjoy, what you'd like to do more of, and what's been holding you back. There are no wrong answers.

2

Personal assistant matching

We match you with a PA who shares relevant interests, experience or language — someone you'll genuinely look forward to spending time with.

3

Tailored activity plan

Together with you and your family, we build a flexible activity plan. It might include regular weekly sessions or ad-hoc support when opportunities arise.

4

Regular reviews

We check in regularly to make sure your activity support is still working well and adjust it as your interests, abilities or confidence evolve.
