Please speak to our team about our employment arrangements. It is worth asking any provider whether carers are directly employed or self-employed, as this affects training oversight, supervision and accountability. We are happy to explain our approach and answer any questions you have.
All our care workers receive thorough initial training before supporting any client, covering areas such as first aid, manual handling, safeguarding, medication awareness and dementia care. We also provide ongoing development so standards remain high and carers stay up to date with best practice.
Starting your care journey with us begins with a complimentary consultation to understand the individual's unique needs, preferences, daily routines and goals. We involve the person receiving care and their family throughout. Once agreed, the plan is reviewed regularly to make sure it stays right.
We aim to keep carers consistent wherever possible — particularly important for people living with dementia or anxiety. We work hard to match clients with carers they connect with, and always have a back-up plan in place should a carer be unavailable.
We believe open communication is essential. Families receive regular welfare check-in calls from a dedicated Client Liaison Manager and are kept updated on any changes. You will always have a clear point of contact and know who to speak to if any concerns arise.
Our carers are trained to act appropriately in emergencies, including last-minute cover if a carer is unexpectedly unavailable. We have contingency plans in place and a support structure to handle urgent situations as effectively as possible. Please ask our team about out-of-hours contact arrangements.
